Latest Report on the Construction of Masjid Nurul Iman in Kampung Uba, Moyo Island, Indonesia
Phase 1 Construction ✅
Alhamdulillah, the first phase of the Masjid Nurul Iman construction on Moyo Island has been successfully completed 100%. This phase included site preparation, land filling and compaction, brick laying, and concrete work, all of which contributed to forming a strong foundation for the mosque’s durable and lasting structure.
Phase 2 Construction ⏳
The second phase of the mosque’s construction has made significant progress. The plastering work is 95% complete. This process aims to smooth the wall surfaces and correct imperfections, resulting in a neater appearance. The plastering phase is now in its final stages for full completion.
The roof installation is 80% finished. The wooden roof frame is fully assembled, and the next steps involve installing the multiroof/galvalum roofing and lisplank (the boards installed along the roof edges). This process is crucial for protecting the structure from the weather and ensuring the safety of the upper part of the building.
The construction of the wudu area is 60% complete. The installation of drainage and pipes for the wudu area is underway. This facility is designed to provide better and more comfortable amenities for worshippers to perform ablution.
Phase 3 Construction
The next phase will involve several key tasks, including:

▶️ Electrical system installation
▶️ Ceramic tile installation
Phase 4 Construction
The final phase, eagerly awaited by the people of Moyo Island, will be completed when the Masjid Nurul Iman is fully finished and ready to be used. The community will be able to perform congregational prayers in greater comfort and carry out various religious and social activities. This mosque is expected to become a center of worship and a catalyst for community activities, strengthening the ties of brotherhood within the local community.
Allah says in Surah Saba, verse 39:
“And whatever you spend, He will replace it; and He is the best of providers.” (Quran 34:39)
