“Malaysia is not a healthy country”
In 2020 alone, there were 18,515 deaths, or 17 percent of the total deaths in Malaysia, caused by heart disease. The Ministry of Health revealed that the country is categorized as not a healthy nation due to the high rates of heart disease and obesity. – Former Minister of Health, Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar, 2022.
Did you know that the health status in Malaysia is now declining? This indirectly leads to an increase in medical costs in Malaysia in 2024 by up to 11.4%, surpassing the average in Asia. (source: Mercer Marsh Benefits).

Lifestyle-related risk factors associated with non-communicable diseases (NCD) affecting nearly 98% of Malaysian adults are one of the main reasons behind this increase.
This situation creates difficulties for some members of our community who cannot bear the costs of treatment and medical care they face.
In response, the EZ Prihatin Foundation has initiated the Prihatin Health project to assist individuals who are ill and in need.
Who are our targets?
- Asnaf
- Persons with Disabilities (OKU)
- Single mothers
- Others
Among the forms of contributions provided:

In addition, the EZ Prihatin Foundation team also introduces the concept of waqf in every donation of health equipment, especially items like wheelchairs and hospital beds. Imagine, with the contribution you provide, it can benefit patients in need. Mashallah, this can become a continuous source of rewards for you.
How does this waqf concept work?

The Prophet Muhammad SAW said:
“When a son of Adam dies, all of his deeds cease except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.” (HR Muslim)

Therefore, let us join Yayasan EZ Prihatin in contributing to the Prihatin Health Project fund so that we can provide assistance to those in need.
“Every contribution, no matter how small, has a significant impact. Your support is their strength.”
Let’s share our blessings, and may Allah bless all our efforts.
